Oreo Cookie's First Hunt!

Posted by Esther on January 5, 2014 at 4:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Oreo Cookie and I had our first ever hunt together on New Years Day with the Donegal and Tyrone Farmers Hunt

He was amazing and Jumped everything! We tried to be responsible and stay in the middle of the 85 horses that raced through the Donegal Countryside but Oreo Cookie couldn't contain himself and boldly took up his stride behind the hunt masters. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and cannot wait until the next day's Hunting in Raphoe.

A Slice of Side Saddling for you to enjoy.

Heart racing adrenaline filled elegance at it's best. Last sunday I joined World record breaker Susan Oakes and the Grallagh Harriers to race across the beautiful picturesque countryside of Galway Ireland and tear it up in style!

Enjoy!

Oreo Cookie Wins the League

After five consecutive shows our own Oreo Cookie was placed first overall in the Showjumping League at Deanes Equestrian Centre.

He suffered an injury last January and has come back from it in leaps and bounds quite literally!

2013 saw his first cross country event at Clonclaw Equestrian centre where he was placed and also his first open hunter trials at the Finn Valley  show where he was place 3rd and 5th in the Showing Class. He has been competing ever since and will now be going hunting over the Christmas months.

Stay tuned for more stories of the Tipp Top Horse himself  ;)

Busy Busy Busy as a Bee!

Wow where to start! So many horses and ponies coming and going from new arrivals and safe deliveries to new homes and safe departures.

Two new baby foals were added to the Tipp Top Troop in the past few months as well as a few more ponies and horses, all of which are doing fantastic.

May West has moved to England to her new 5 star home and Lincoln has had people fight over him to buy him!

We are now looking forward to the hunting season where Oreo Cookie will get his first taste for the hunt field.

Stay tuned for photos to follow but for now here's the babies!!!!

Also Oreo and I fooling around :) Yeooooow! ;)
